To get the Pit Bull of today you will need crosses of the American Staffordshire Terrier, the Bull Terrier, and the Staffordshire Terrier. The Pit Bull is not recognized by the AKC but is recognized by the United Kennel Club and the American Dog Breeders Association. The Pit Bulls are funny loving dogs who are extremely loyal to their families. They are full of spirit and very athletic.
